UCL Applicant Account

Welcome to UCL – Let's Get You Started

UCL has introduced a new and improved way for applicants to sign in, from December 2025, the old Online User Registration (OUR) portal has been retired.

You'll now use your “UCL Applicant Account” to:

  • Set up your UCL Applicant Account log in
  • Review your application and complete any admissions tasks
  • Access the Accommodation Portal (if relevant)

How to sign up

When you first connect to any of these systems you will be able to us the ‘Sign up now’ link to sign up using your personal email or a social account to login. When you sign up you will need to provide your personal email address, student number and DOB. Once you have signed up you will be able to use this account to access either Portico or the accommodation page.

If you were directed here by an email relating to Portico then you can now sign in or sign up to access Portico.

If you were directed here by an email relating to accommodation then you can apply through the UCL Accommodation Portal.
